Help is always needed!
Can you give us just a few hours a week to help out? Whether it's taking a dog for a walk, spending time teaching basic commands, being a part of an adoption event, bathing puppies, cleaning kennels, doing paper work, transporting to vet appointments, whatever way you can help out is always needed and appreciated!! You pick your job and how often you can help! It feels good to be a part of a team of volunteers doing what they can to help homeless dogs become happy family members! We love having teenagers help out as well! If you are under 16, your parent must accompany you during your volunteer hours. If your 16 - 18, just a parent signature is needed! Foster a Dog!
Become a foster parent! Fostering a dog is a wonderful way to help a dog prepare for their forever home! Whether they need to learn basic commands or are just very shy and scared, fostering not only is helping that dog adjust to life in a home but helping their chances of a successful forever home. And it makes you feel good to see the changes and growth in your foster dog! And we provide everything you need! Interested? Here's what you need to know:
1 . You must be willing to foster either an adult dog or 2 -3 puppies .
2 . Be willing to teach basic commands .
3 . Be within a 30 mile radius of the rescue !
4 . Help with transport to vet appointments.
5 . Bring to adoption events .
6 . Care , love and nurture your foster dog.
